The one-year term of stay under the agreement between the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the International Association of Security Experts “G3” in Voronezh for the instructor-teacher of Burmese boxing or Lethway Soe Yar Zar has ended.

Burmese boxing (Lethway) is a traditional martial art of Myanmar, which is one of the fundamental parts of the Golden Triangle Melee Combat System.

During his stay in Russia, Master Soe Yar Zar not only helped those who wished to master the “art of nine limbs” in individual and group classes, but also participated in planned events of the Russian Burmese Boxing Federation.

Denis Vladimirov, President of the Russian Federation of Burmese Boxing, presented the Honorary Diploma of the Federation to the master of Soe Yar Zar for the successful organization and conduct of training camps according to the rules of Burmese boxing in a number of subjects of the Russian Federation (Voronezh Region, Moscow, Republic of Kalmykia, etc.).

However, despite the close cooperation between our countries, our peoples still do not have the opportunity to learn more about each other. First of all, the difficult logistical component does not contribute to this. Therefore, such exchanges of experience provide an opportunity to understand the cultural code of the country, find common interests and promote mutual enrichment.

In turn, a team of instructors from the Melee Studio, which promotes and develops a new type of competitive activity, practical athletic all-around, based on the Golden Triangle Melee Combat System, taught the Myanmar master lessons in shooting, throwing a sports knife, working with edged weapons in close combat, and functional fitness. and first aid.

At the Soe Yar Zara award ceremony, the author of the Golden Triangle Melee Combat System, Alexander Shlychkov, noted in his address to the assembled instructors of the Melee Studio that “The joint efforts of martial arts specialists are improving the teaching methods of the System.”

During the ceremony, the Master of Soe Yar Zar was thanked for his work and awarded a Diploma from the International Association of Security Experts G3 for his contribution to the development of the Golden Triangle System.

At parting, Master Soe Yar Zar thanked the organizers for the warm welcome and said: “Being outside my homeland, in another independent country, I feel a special responsibility and inspiration to contribute to the popularization of the traditional national martial art of Myanmar – this unique cultural heritage embodying the spirit and identity of our people.”

Sergey Ivanovich Vlasov, First Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Voronezh Region, took part in the final ceremony of sending off the Master from Myanmar. For his contribution to the popularization and development of traditional Burmese boxing (Lethway) in the Voronezh Region, he presented Soy Yar Zar with the Ministry’s Commendation.
